Baglio Oneto dei Principi di San Lorenzo – Luxury Wine Resort is an ancient residence of the XVIII century, today officially part of the collection of the most beautiful castles and houses of Italy, located in the fertile Sicilian countryside, a few minutes away from the airport of Trapani, from the medieval town of Erice and the Nature Reserve of Stagnone, the largest in Sicily, that includes four islands: Mozia, Isola Grande or Lunga, Schola and Santa Maria.

The day before you will be able to have a walk among the narrow streets of the precious Marsala, accompanied by your most faithful friends: the town is situated at the cusp of Sicily, caressed by the seabreeze. In this way, starting from the ancient Porta di Mare (nowadays called Porta Garibaldi), you will be immersed in its buildings and its Baroque Churches, and you will taste the typical dishes of fresh seafood: cuscus, pasta with sarde or busiate with fresh tuna. Ancient Sicilian recipes, passed down from grandmothers to nephews, including ricotta based traditional sweets, like cassata, cannoli, cappidruzzi, and delicacies to taste with the exquisite Marsala sweet wine.
Finally, the day of your wedding in a traditional Sicilian baglio has come. The warm sunrays that reflexts on the turquoise sea will welcome you on the terrace of your room. The enchanting Belvedere Garden, a truepiece of heaven, already prepared for the ceremony, will start to welcome the first guests, fascinated by the bright colors and the surrounding panorama. You will savour every single moment in a scenery that willevoke the deeds of past people, preserving their history and traditions intact. A rich appetizer, with itscolors and original flavors, will be served in the open yard of the Baglio, or on the pool deck. The Mandragola Hall will be the ideal framework for your wedding dinner, that will let you immerse in a timeless atmosphere. The terrace, with its sliding glass doors will allow you to appreciate the marvellouslandscape in every time of the year, appreciating the different natural beauties, peculiar of every season, with no compromises.
The best of the local cuisine, with a touch of innovation
The chef Rosolia will curate in every detail your wedding menu, proposing seafood and meat dishes of the local tradition, that make space to a touch of innovation, creating a perfect match with the renowned cellarwines: from the Inzolia to the Nero D’avola and the Zibibbo, and to the unfailing golden Marsala.
Inside the ancient Cantina del Baglio, where the barrels of wine lie, you can taste the liquors and olive oil, savouring slowly the authenticity of the Sicilian taste and its millennia traditions through the products of this warm land. The “La Calandra” restaurant is the central point from which to have an authentic top-levelfood and wine experience. You will be able to taste the typical dishes of Sicilian cuisine with the guaranteeof refinement and impeccable service by our highly trained Maitre.

“Me and Anna (my wife) have celebrated our wedding (Civil ceremony) on the 14th of August 2019 at Baglio Oneto. We have lived a dream, not only because of our personal love-story, but also because we have found in Baglio Oneto such wonderful people that have made themselves available at all times. People that have done everything possible to solve any problem we may encounter, every doubt, with extreme friendliness and professionalism. All was perfect, thanks to them, all was beautiful, from the food to the hospitality, and to the organization of the smallest details. We want to thank them, one by one, but at the same time I don’t want to make wrong to anyone. I can only say that we have entered like clients and we have come out as friends to all. From the reception to the director and the wedding planner and then the waiters, the maitre, the kitchen, in short, everyone. It’s been one marvelous experience and we, such as our 116 guests, will never forget it.
